Who Teaches Crane Certification Training?
Crane certification training is important for anyone interested in working with heavy equipment for a living. With the specialized knowledge needed, as well as the inherent risks of the field, it’s your duty as a prospective crane operator to be fully trained and certified in whatever machinery you work with. Which, of course, begs the question: if you need a crane certification, who should be doing the training?
Without a skilled and attentive instructor, you may not gain the skills and knowledge needed to sustain a career in the long term. Everyone has had at least one bad teacher in their life, so you know how important it is that you can have confidence in the person in charge of your education. That’s why at West Coast Training, we only work with professionals and educators of the highest caliber.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to philosophy. From the administrative side of the business to every trainer on staff, you want to learn from people who love the heavy construction industry. At West Coast Training, it’s been the source of our livelihood and our passion, and there is nothing more satisfying than helping our students take their first few steps into the field.
With our approach, there are no half-measures, and the standard should be the same wherever you study. Opt for a training center that uses the best curriculum, employs the brightest instructors, and maintains high-quality heavy equipment at a dedicated training site, like West Coast Training. It may take a massive amount of time and energy to offer a top-of-the-line education, but in the long run, a company that offers quality crane certification training knows it’s worth it. Every student who goes on to have a long and successful career is proof that when it comes to education, only the best will do.
Our Certifications
Not only should a program offer crane certification training, but it should also have some pretty stellar credentials. For instance, we’re recognized as an Accredited Training Unit of the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER), and we also strictly adhere to the guidelines set out by the National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO). Since these credentials are recognized nationally, any crane certification training you complete with us will be recognized anywhere in the country and even abroad. Anything less could jeopardize your hirability.
In addition to the credentials, the school itself has earned, you want to work with instructors who are trained and certified in a wide variety of industry skills. Many of the people you’ll be learning from will have their own bevy of credentials, both for the practical usage of heavy equipment as well as for the education and examination of students.
When you begin your crane certification training, you need to trust that your instructors know what they’re talking about. That’s why all of the instructors at West Coast Training have undergone extensive training themselves, with years of experience in the field to back it up. When you decide to join our programs, you can be confident that not only are your trainers excellent educators, they have the hands-on experience and know the field inside and out.
